Afghanistan's Taliban government announced the release of 2 Americans in a prisoner exchange. Ryan Corbett's family says he's one of them.

Two U.S. citizens held for years by the Taliban have been released from imprisonment in exchange for an Afghan drug trafficker. The family of Ryan Corbett, a U.S. citizen who was kidnapped by the terrorist government in August 2022,

We celebrate the release of Ryan Corbett and William McKenty who will soon reunited with their families and loved ones,” National Security spokesperson Brian Hughes said in a statement.
