The Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu will be closing at 3 p.m. on Tuesday due to the approaching storm. The first storm is expected Tuesday afternoon, bringing rain to Ventura County. By Tuesday night, it is expected to spread to Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Orange counties as well as the Inland Empire.

Although the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu reopened on Sunday, the general public is still not allowed into the Palisades area, causing some confusion among drivers. KTLA's Rachel Menitoff speaks with residents in the area on Feb.

With Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass delaying the city’s plans to remove all checkpoints for access to Pacific Palisades along Pacific Coast Highway until Monday, visitors were still stopped at multiple sites heading into the fire-ravaged community on Sunday.
