Florian Wirtz knows what it is to be a wanted man. And now, six years after catching the eye of some of the game's biggest clubs, Wirtz is making the second high profile, contentious move of his career.

Liverpool have already announced a deal worth almost £30m to sign Wirtz’s Leverkusen teammate Jeremie Frimpong, so a deal for the German could take their spending to around £150m this summer.
