Kristian Campbell is safe at home plate after a throwing error by Guardians' Angel Martinez, giving the Red Sox a 2-0 lead.

With Campbell at third base and one out, Ceddanne Rafaela hit a shallow 252-foot fly ball to center field. Campbell initially didn’t attempt to tag up. But he sprinted home when cutoff man Carlos Santana was unable to catch center fielder Angel Martínez’s high throw.

"All around probably one of his best, if not the best, game of the season,” Red Sox manager Alex Cora said of the 22-year-old rookie Campbell.
