The Kansas women’s basketball team held off a push from Texas Tech to win, 57-50, on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The Jayhawks (14-7, 4-6) and Red Raiders (14-9, 3-7)played an even first half. Kansas shot 7-19 (37%) while Texas Tech went 6-25 (24%) from the field.

Darrion Williams scored 16 points, Elijah Hawkins added 14 with nine assists for Texas Tech and the Red Raiders held Kansas State scoreless for the final 5-plus minutes in their 61-57 win on Tuesday night.
