Pitcher Chris Paddack, acquired Monday from the Minnesota Twins, threw six impressive innings and the Tigers offense again exploded in a 7-2 victory for a three-game series sweep over Arizona. Paddack allowed one run on three hits, walked none and struck out five while helping extend the Tigers' win streak to four games.

Chris Paddack pitched six solid innings in his Detroit debut and the host Tigers extended their winning streak to four games with a 7-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday afternoon.

The Tigers look back to form, finally. After an absymal run of play where the team lost 12 of 13 games around the All-Star Break, the team, and its bats, have come alive. Following a huge win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday, the Tigers have picked up a couple of sizeable wins to start off this series with the Diamondbacks.

It's Wednesday, July 30 and the Diamondbacks (51-57) are in Detroit to take on the Tigers (63-46). Ryne Nelson is slated to take the mound for Arizona against Chris Paddack for Detroit. Paddack makes his debut for the Tigers after being traded from the Twins ahead of the deadline.
