Deion Sanders, head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, recently disclosed that he battled bladder cancer, a health struggle he kept private until now.

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders is thankful for all of the well-wishes he has received after revealing he underwent surgery to remove his bladder following a cancer diagnosis.

"Texting the boys," Sanders said. "It's their first day of practice today, and I'm excited. It's kind of the first day that we've been apart for a long time."
