The Cincinnati Bengals made official Tuesday the release of linebacker Germaine Pratt, who had been with the team since being drafted in 2019 and was one of the longest-tenured players in Cincinnati.

Germaine Pratt is signing a one-year, $4.25 million deal with the Raiders just a day after he was released by the Bengals, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday.

Pratt was set to enter the final season of his three-year contract in 2025. He inked the deal, worth more than $20 million, in 2023. In releasing Pratt, the Bengals will incur $2.3 million in dead money against the salary cap. He was set to earn a $5.25 million salary for the 2025 season.
