Two Sydney Thunder players, Cameron Bancroft and Daniel Sams, collided head on while going at full pace in opposite directions trying to position themselves under a high ball in the field.

Cameron Bancroft and Daniel Sams were involved in an on-field collision as they both attempted an outfield catch on the run, leading to a lengthy halt in play in the BBL match between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Thunder at Optus Stadium.

Cameron Bancroft’s BBL season is over after the Sydney Thunder opener suffered a fractured nose and a fractured right scapula in his horror collision with teammate Daniel Sams.
