The office of Indiana Gov. Mike Braun announced on Friday that he has appointed Jared Prentice to serve as the state’s next inspector general. According to a news release from Braun’s office, Prentice is an attorney who has had experience in the public and private sector.

Democrats and Republicans are responding to the speech, which Braun used to lay out his agenda for his time as Indiana's governor.
