This weekend at Daikin Park, a Texas baseball tradition that marks its 25th year continues: the Astros Foundation College Classic, in which six college baseball teams descend on the Lone Star state to compete in an annual tournament that has featured many future MLB stars.

By the time Rice and Texas A&M closed out the 2025 Astros Foundation College Classic on Sunday night, Tennessee had secured the team title. The reigning national champion was the only squad to win all three of its games at Daikin Park.

No. 1 Tennessee (11-0) won its third and final game in the Astros Foundation College Classic on Sunday. The Vols defeated Arizona (7-4), 5-1, at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas to remain undefeated to start the 2025 baseball season.
