They allowed my wife to have her purse for Postcards from Earth. They did step her aside and checked the contents but yes, they allowed her to have it.

Take and Uber to the Wynn employee parking area which is across the street from The Speer entrance. When leaving do not take an Uber from there but walk to Palazzo and take Uber from there.

Are there elevators or escalators available to the upper levels?

Both are available but the escalators area are more visible. It is the access steps to the seats that are rather steep and narrow.
