Can anyone tell me the name of the perfume shop outside of the the Cairo Museum's gift shop. I bought some amazing perfume and now I am out. Would like to re order more. Thanks for any help.

There seems to be growing confusion over the following A) can tourist buy their own ticket to all archaeological sites on the site at arrival? B) can tourists pay for the tickets using a dollar money card backed by Visa or Mastercard ? Not a Credit card or bank account card? Many thanks

A) yes B) use Egyptian pounds or American dollars.. I took my bank card visa and took Egyptian pounds out of the ATM'S in Cairo, Luxor ,Alexandra, Aswan. Locals will prefer cash over cards for market's. I was able to take out $2000 Egyptian pounds at one time. Locals like to get American dollars as the exchange rate is better for them back to Egyptian pounds.. Its good to barter for items. And be prepared to walk away if you aren't happy with the price. Haggling is expected and respected by traders . A rule of haggling is half what they offer as a price and work back up to a quarter of the original price.
