We will be heading to Vancouver in the end of january. Since we can’t see the buses timetables, is it worth buying the lift tickets to Grouse and Cypress Mountains in advance?! Meaning, 2 months ahead?l

Just saw your question. The simple answer is none I can recommend. Best option if you want to stay close to Cypress is look for AirBnB's. There are some lower end motels near the Lions Gate Bridge on Capilano Road which may have been renovated so may be worth a try. They are quite low cost (North Vancouver Hotel & a Best Western both on Capilano). You can stay in Downtown Vancouver and take shuttles there but the hotels downtown are quite expensive.
