Waterfalls that once possessed religious significance for Native American tribes are today part of Minneapolis' historic district.

The falls are lovely, along with the stone arch bridge, lock and dam. There was a tour guide there who gave us a bit of an impromptu tour which was nice. Unfortunately there was a lot on constructi…Full review by Jen W

I really enjoyed walking around the falls. The National Park Service has Rangers onsite on limited days. They were there and answering questions and giving tours. Worth the time.Full review by CrissyK3554

There are some good restaurants near the Mill City Museum, just across the street from St. Anthony Falls. There's a famous steakhouse called Murray's in downtown Minneapolis, but I didn't eat there when I visited the Twin Cities. See my review on the Twin Cities Grill at the Mall of America.

Hello Chapmans5, On the east side bank of the river, crossing over from Minneapolis city side, there is one of my favorite places, called Wilde Roast Cafe. They have a website that will give you details of their hours, menu, etc. There is parking along Main Street or a block behind there is a parking ramp with underground tunnel access to establishments on Main Street. They also have an outdoor patio which is under an awning. I've seen people there dressed very casual and also dressed up. Save room for their gelato! Let me know if you have other questions. Hello 67foxy, There is a parking ramp located at: 2nd Street South East, Minneapolis. The cost isn't too bad, I'm usually paying $5.00 for the time I am using it. There is also an underground tunnel directly from the parking ramp to Main Street where you can access a few restaurants (Wilde Roast Cafe is my favorite) and then walk across the street to get to the Stone Arch Bridge. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions! Lynn in Mn
