Quân khu 7 Stadium is a stadium in Tan Binh District, it's 10 minutes away from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City. It has a capacity of around 25,000 people. Before the Fall of Saigon, the stadium was called "Republic of Vietnam Military Stadium" or simply "Military Stadium"; it was also known as "Pershing Field Ball Park", named after Pershing Field in New Jersey, to American soldiers. This was the site of a bombing incident on February 9, 1964, that killed 2 and injured 20 people. The stadium was completely rebuilt in 2003.
