Beautiful place to walk. Lovely nature alongside beautiful homes. Especially great in fall with the fall color and foliage. Full review by HynesMom

A:
We didn’t go to any near by restaurants. But went to a local deli to get food, as we were in an Airbnb. Sorry I can’t help you.

Is the area pet friendly. Will be traveling there this summer, and wondering if pets were allowed to walk around the lake?

Yes! An extreme amount of animals. Leashed animals only, there is a dog park on the south side of the lake for more romping.

How far is it to go around?
A:
About an hour, depending on your pace. It is complety flat except for one inclne near the lagoon to Cedar Lake.

Where would I go to start the walk around lake of the isles?
A:
Anywhere around the lake beautiful homes to look at ! The best is to rent a kayak in lake Calhoun and go under the bridge it's breath taking
