Samantha, thank you for reaching out to us about Stars & Stripes Washington DC tours. They are still in the planning phases of their 2018 Washington DC tours. I did speak to their representative, and they said they should be picking up at the Heritage Center once again this year. There are no plans to make any changes. The tours will begin in June, and I would recommend reaching out to them so they have your information, and can contact you if any changes arise, or once booking is open, you can reserve your seat. You can reach them by calling 1-877-723-1863. Let us know if you have any questions! Thank you! Stephanie General Manager Gettysburg Heritage Center

The iPad tour is a tour of the battlefield, using a specially programmed iPad that you pick up from our facility. As you follow the GPS synced map, the iPad tells you about the three-day battle. There are certain stops along the route where enhanced features, such as augmented reality are available. It is easy to follow. Cost is $34.95 to rent the unit for up to 5 hours. Currently we are open daily 9 am - 7 pm; visitors may rent the iPad anytime between 9 am - 2 pm to allow for adequate time to take the tour. If you have any questions, please let us know! We are happy to help!
